Constitution
- This organisation is known as the Cefn Sidan Sea Angling club. The object of this Club is to provide and promote sea Fishing.

- The committee will be elected by members during the annual general meeting.
- The committee will office foe one year unless removed from that office on a resolution by committee members.
- The business and administration of the club will be conducted by the committee.
- To Carrie out any business of the club at least (3) committee members must be present.
- The committee have the power to amend meeting arrangements; IE Day, Date, & Place, in the best interest of the club. Such amendments will be notified to club members at least 10 days prior to the amendment.
- The committee are empowered to expel from the club any member who in their opinion is found guilty of misconduct, or who may be injurious to the interest of the club, its members, or objects. The committees decision on expulsion shall be a majority vote by those present at the inquiry, after the member concerned has been given reasonable opportunity to defend and justify him/herself before them.
- All matters such as; complaints, Resignations, Venues, Trophy’s ECT will be dealt with by the committee.
- Membership will never be limited.
- Ordinary members: - A candidate for membership shall be admitted to the club as a full member on payment of the entrance fee on the A.G.M. The annual subscriptions to the club shall be due by the first Tuesday of September each year. The fee of £15.00.
- Senior members:- Members over the age of 65 will be classed as senior member and will be admitted the club on payment of the current annual fee of £7.50
- Junior members:- members of 16 years or under will be classed as Junior members and will be admitted to the club on payment of the current fee of £7.50
- Honorary members:- These will be appointed at the discretion of the committee but will have no voting rights.
- Life Members:- Nominated by the committee and approved at the annual general meeting by the club members.
- The club may be affiliated to such associations as is deemed necessary by the committee, and delegates appointed at the clubs discretion.
- The committee may, from time to time invite persons to attend the ordinary meetings to address the club.addition to the afore-mentioned rules the fundamental rules of the welsh federation of sea anglers, will be observed by each member of the club. any member be caught fishing illegally during a fishing venue; IE. Foul hooking or lining, that member shall be reprimanded and his or hers points for that season will be for fêted.members will be issued with new points system card and rules.
Club Competition Rules
- A minimum of (2) members must be present to constitute a venue.
- In the event of only (2) members turning up, the venue can be altered at their own discretion.
- A maximum of (3) hooks are to be used during all venues. Members however may use (2) rods for this purpose IE 1st rod with (2) hooks and 2nd rod with (1) hook. Pennell rig counts as (1) hooks. Treble counts as (3) hooks.
- The welsh federation of sea anglers rules apply.
- All venues to be settled on a points system. (see venue score card) any species not listed will be awarded points accordingly.
- (3) Points will be awarded for attendance.
- During certain venues, certain species will be targeted and these fish will count as double points. This to be determined in the monthly meeting by the committee
- All undersized fish (undamaged) are to be returned alive if possible.
- The member who accumulated the most points over the season will be judged champion angler, and will receive a cash sum of £100.00.
- Any member fishing outside a club venue who catches a specimen fish must have the fish verified by another club member.
Knock out cup rules 2010/11
- Only paid up members will be entered for the knock- out cup
- The knock-out cup will be fished from January to May
- The Venue location for the knock put cup will be decided at a normal club meeting between January and May and each member will put their chosen location in to a hat.
- The location drawn will be final.
- The person with most points will be the winner.
